Starfleet Anthro Alliance Program
Federation Cultural Integration Initiative
SFAAP Seal
The Starfleet Anthro Alliance Program (SFAAP) is a Federation-backed initiative developed by Starfleet Command to promote equitable representation and career advancement for anthropomorphic species across the quadrant. By focusing on species such as the Caitians, Kzinti, and other morphologically non-human allies, the program ensures that diversity within Starfleet reflects the full breadth of Federation membership.
The SFAAP aims to eliminate long-standing biases in recruitment and training by addressing cultural, physiological, and doctrinal barriers through tailored mentorship, cultural exchange, and direct liaison with command staff and planetary representatives.
- Equity in Access: Ensure that anthromorphic species are granted equal access to Starfleet academies, postings, and leadership opportunities.
- Species Liaison Corps: Deploy trained officers to represent anthropomorphic species’ interests aboard starships and space stations.
- Cultural Exchange: Facilitate cross-species cultural training to enhance integration and cohesion among Starfleet crews.
- Veteran Outreach: Recognize and uplift historic contributions of Caitian, Kzinti, and other allied species in past Federation missions.
Since its launch in 2406, the program has supported the service and promotion of dozens of officers of anthropomorphic origin across command, medical, and science tracks—including the appointment of several to senior staff aboard fleet flagships.
Captains and crew of ships like the USS Solenne proudly incorporate SFAAP officers as part of their operational and command teams.
- Caitians (Alpha Quadrant)
- Kzinti (Tau Ceti Sector)
- Sivatians, Lurani, and other aligned morphs
This program reinforces Starfleet’s mandate that **diversity is not a burden, but a strength**—one vital to the continued unity and evolution of the Federation.
